C-5 Galaxy

Yeah it took me 3 years to figure out that when I called for more heat, the Eng just cranked it ALL the way up and giggled. Then when I asked him to turn it down a little, he would turn it ALL the way down, and the pilot would giggle too.

A 25k chain under the seat cushion, and a few in the A3 bag for good measure, always equals good revenge though:) Plus, remember when I told you that your crew meal did not come for some reason?

Hey! I just applied to the 167th AW for a C-5 UPT slot. I'm still waiting to hear if I'll be lucky enough to get an interview or not. I think the board meets in April for that.

I noticed they have a job posted on the ANG site for a C-5 pilot. They're located about 90 miles from Washington DC. Would you move to the Martinsburg area if you get picked up?
 
Did MRB ever get its runway back? I still have pictures from training around that area that make the thing look like a glorified parking lot and I think Google Maps still has the runway cropped to the old crosswind.

The main runway (8-26)is back and near completion with the expansion if not already completed. The crosswind runway is long gone ... rumors fly around from time to time about if and when a crosswind runway may return.

Yeah, apps were due 1 March. I wouldn't need to move to Martinsburg, I live and work in Manassas which is only about a 1.5 hour drive to Martinsburg. So it works out well. Board apparently meets in April. I'm hoping that's to decide who they want to interview because I haven't heard anything yet.
 
Hearsay, but very informed hearsay trust me: Very competitive this year. Could pretty much say there is very little chance without prior C-5 experience.
