C-5 Dover crash video....

I think this was covered on the forums somewhere before. No 2 was dead, and after bringing back the levers and then increasing them, they increased No 2 and left 3 reduced which was a good engine which led to not enough power. You can clearly see the AOA increasing and VVI decreasing.

"Im concerned. We have nothing left" That sentence really made me feel sick..... I guess it could have been infinatly worse.. (I heard all survived?) Be safe guys I dont ever want to see anything like this about any of you.

now the question i have is. are they flying the c 5 now? was that the end of their respective flying careers?

Hard for me to say. I haven't heard anything. Depends on what the board finds in relation to fault. It's not merely saying "OK, pilot error, you're not flying anymore..." It's more about what went wrong, why it went wrong, the likelyhood of it happening again, and the likelyhood of the same crewmembers doing that again. They also look at anything the crew might have neglected to do or done to cause the accident. Even if the accident was partly caused by other than crew, if there was something the crew should have done and it would've prevented the accident...they also look at things like that.

Well, I can tell you the Captain is not flying at the moment, since he is still trying to regain mobility in his legs. At this point he has made good progress and only lacks sensation in his feet. Not a good place to be. :(

ie National Security infringement. They're technically not supposed to post that stuff to the public. Still an accident, though, whether it's the AF or the Airlines. That removal was probably more related to the recent pussification of youtube.
