Sux that I just read that USA 3000 will be leaving Florida's St Pete International because..........surprise! Fuel costs! I have used them since early 2000's when I would fly to and from Florida. I really enjoyed the airline and services. Perhaps one day they will be back...........

They announced some pilot furloughs as well.

I did not know that but they were doing 21 flights weekly so I guess itgoes hand in hand. Sux that the airline industry was FINALLY getting back on its feet and now is getting crushed like this!

Yeah, but this is good news for Greyhound, considering the passengers they catered to. I flew them once - overall a good experience, except the trash seated all around me, and the fact that we had to wait over an hour to get our bags in Chicago. Crew was great, though.

But on the plus side, this means less time waiting to takeoff at KPIE :)

Then your mom probably noticed it too - I didn't say that everyone on board was trashy - they were just the loudest.

I'm disappointed they're going - I enjoyed flying them, luggage wait time and rednecks aside.

I just saw a USA 3000 airbus at the Int'l terminal at KPHX this morning. Are they doing international flights as well?
