Chinese regulators fined a low-cost carrier nearly $20,000 after the airline rolled out a fare sale offering 13-cent tickets. In doing so, regulators say the airline broke national pricing rules, according to Reuters/CNN.
This is interesting. The state basically put a stop on the "Race To The Bottom." I wonder if they can impose similar limitations on capacity, destinations and wages (after that, what's the point of trying to be a low-cost carrier?).
