A couple of opinions:
1) I would like to think I would catch an upload that caused my gross weight on a fully loaded jet to be off by 30,000lbs, but complacency is all our enemy. It really could happen to anybody. There's a lot for two people to do before an ETOPS flight and something can get missed pretty easy.
2) Human error. Did we catch that it was people that ended up catching the robot mistake? This is directly aimed at those who are leaning towards AI being inherently safer than humans in the flight deck. Human error is going to be present, no matter what. Only in the all AI scenario, the error manifests while the programmer that made the error is playing with his or her kids in the back yard, and there's no way that person is going to trap and repair that error before it reaches a logical conclusion.
3) 73333333337 rotation technique. Who the hell is just pulling on the family truckster nose until the tail strikes? If it doesn't unstick when you expect it should, just stop until it flies off. Be a pilot. Rant complete.
