Building non-UND flight time

Question - for those with their PPL or higher, what do you do to build flight time when you want to take your buddy or girlfriend/boyfriend up for a joy ride? I heard rental is cheap at Crookston ($55/hour wet-rate for a Cadet I think I heard?)...any other places to go to?

Nope, it blows around here.

On second thought, I found a Baron for $205/hour in St. Paul. That is damn cheap, 100 less an hour than UND starts for the same plane.

They dont have a Cadet in CKN. Im checked out in their Archer and that goes for $77 an hour wet (IFR). They also have a 172 that goes for $65 I believe (also IFR) wet. The Archer is much nicer then the 172.

yeah, the Cadet out there actually belongs to UND and is out there for the Agricultural Aviation program for the U of M Crookston
