Anyone have a good temporary fix for some broken gel seals for my headset?
A permanant fix would be to call Oregon Aero, or visit their website, and get an upgrade kit for your model, it made my headsets like new!
I looked at their stuff. The funny thing is that the kit for my model does not include the ear pads.
Also wow are my gel seals expensive $50 from David Clark and other retailers.
Do you have a David Clark headset? Send them an email and tell them about your situation. I used to own a DC H20-10XL ANR headset, and had the same problem. They sent me a brand new set of ear seals for free, I didn't even have to pay for shipping.
And this was after the warranty had expired on my headset. David Clark customer service is really fantastic.

I have contacted DC and the seals are still under warranty.
The seals are unique to my model of DCs; hence the high price. My headset is the H20-10s.
Now I just need to deal with my leaky headset till the new seals arrive. I ended up stuffing some tissue in the holes. Seems the sticky gel will hold the tissue inside.
Are they making you pay for them, or is everything free? Which model do you have?
In the text you quoted he specifically mentioned the type and model.
Weak. I have DCs with the "classic" style ear cups and I swear by Oregon Aero ear cushion. Sucks that they don't cover your model.
