lol grats...i had a few more milestones than that though. 300 hours was a big mark for me. Then 500. Still waiting on a thousand.

Congrats dude. You'll get to 250 in no time. I've gone from 100 to now in a little over 8 months. Just take a bunch of long flights. Go visit people you know around the country. Makes it fun to get the time.

I agree with that, If I could do it all over again I would have much rather done that than drill holes in the sky locally. Granted I got a few big trips in, I'd have liked more. Enjoy the time building.

Congrats!! I remember hitting that mark too, that seems to be the first big logbook milestone.

About the time I passed 100 hours I remember trying to get some of my co-workers to fly with me to a company meeting about 150 miles away. (I had a non aviation job then.) I told them not to worry, we would only fly if the weather was decent and to boot I had over 100 hours flight time! Everybody thought it sounded like fun and in short order I had three passengers who wanted to come along. I'm pretty sure they said those things just to be nice because when the day finally came everybody had an excuse and drove. Of course I flew there and back alone, all the time wondering: "What the h#$$ is wrong with those people? Do they really think I'm going to kill them?" (As a matter of fact they probably did.) :) Naturally the weather and ride during the flights were perfect too.

Nine years and nearly three logbooks later I bet I still could not get some of them into a small GA plane.

BTW I'm not bagging on you having 100 hours. Your post just reminded me of that experience. Have fun getting to 250!
