Brief approach

Oh boy, remember the good old days of "Join the Colt's Neck 350 radial" and watching guys panic?

In all fairness, most FMC’s aren’t really built with joining a radial as an expected procedure. I recall on the way to IAD they would have you move airways after one of the VOR’s unfortunately the next fix wasn’t “on” the airway so you got something like V92 MRB, MRB 271 radial to join V143. (Airways and such made up but you get the idea). In the universal there really wasn’t a way to “build” that so we ended up just putting the off airway fix in and the connecting to the next on airway fix.

But yes the colts neck 350 /white transition was interesting to watch at times.

Still interesting to watch. Not much has changed besides us using ELVAE COL now instead of the COL 350. The track you're flying is pretty much the same.
