They used to require a couple of years experience, but then during the post Covid hiring boom they were hiring people right out of dispatch school with no experience. Not sure what they are doing now, but they have hired people with zero experience before. I have heard they are a good company and people I knew that worked there, enjoyed it. Provo, Utah is supposed to be very nice as well. If I had not ended up where I am, I definitely would have gone for Breeze. I believe they have had dispatchers move onto Majors as well, and Breeze seems to be expanding and continuing hiring in all departments.

Lol I remember that , they were requiring 2+ years experience. Also heard it’s pricey to live in that area

If you had 2 years or more, at the time. You were most Lilly gonna get picked up to the majors (during the wave if you tried consistently)

Just saw it it says 6 months or more lol
 
I heard back quick. Was like a day. I think I took 2 tests that week. Then got an email for a video interview which I never did.
 
I just remembered it's a holiday weekend lol were the tests difficult? Or was it over things you learned from dispatch school?

Yes in fact that’s exactly what happened. I did apply when I was at my regional but they rejected me the very next day due to not yet having 2 years experience back then. But then I was picked up by a bigger airline and it all worked out. Provo is pricey, but if you’re an outdoor lover it can be amazing. I have had some acquaintances that came from Breeze and they enjoyed the company.

It can take a month to hear anything back after applying to some airlines, and then it can take another month just to get an interview. Some airlines have taken between 3-8 months to officially start people, from time of the initial application window. Until you receive an official TNBT, you are usually still in the running. Just have to play the waiting game and be patient.

Only change to that I would say, is "until you see said airline put up a new external posting". I am still waiting on TBNT's from airlines that have since hired 100+ over the last few years...

Though the airlines that pool and hire 8 months later, typically do not put up additional postings within that time frame.
