Cheap batteries that must be it...
Did you notice better ANR with the switch to lithiums? Or just longer lasting? The BE99 is so freaking loud my Uflymikes get overpowered sometimes.
Lithium in my A20 causes a high pitched squealing, strange.
The UFLYMIKE will not work with the QC15's.
I've used the Bose QC2 and QC3's with the UFLYMIKE. Both work great in a jet and one AAA battery last me 30-40 hours. The UFLYMIKE will not work with the QC15's. The QC3 is noticibably better than the 2's. Bose also has a great warranty. I bout the QC2's used and after a couple of years I upgraded to theQC3's for only $99 at a Bose store. They will buy back their old equipment and give you credit towards new stuff. I have also used the Warranty when I broke my Bose ear buds and they replaced them with no questions asked.
well i just got my QC 15's in the mail and they are awesome! music never sounded so good!!!
Well I beg the differ I think the Bose are better...Have the Zulu 2 and the QC15 myself. QCs are really nice for just flying as pax. Don't wanna be lugging around any huge headsets (would also look rather silly with a massive GA headset sitting in the back).
Didn't go for the A20s bcs the Zulu is better![]()
Well they are pretty similar. Esthetically the A20 looks a bit better, but in regards to ANR I can't feel any difference between them.
I've owned a Bose X for about 200 hours, Zulu 1 for about 900 hours, and Zulu 2 for about 200 hours.
I also fly with a lot of people who have the A20s, so I've tried them on.
The only difference between the A20 and the Zulu2 that I have seen is:
- The A20 is more expensive
- The A20 looks better
- The A20 does not have bluetooth audio (The Zulu 2 does)
Other than that there are no major differences that I have seen
