Still lots of conflicting reports coming in, but most of them revolve around some kind of flight control problem while performing a barrel roll. Some reports say he was trying to bail out of it but either did not make it out or was not able to get a chute.

Maybe.

This was on the practice day prior to the show, so we don't really know where the wreckage landed, or what those seats were there for (they don't seem to be pointing at the flightline), or even when they were placed there.

Brought some folks up to Fargo for the funeral today. Seeing the line up at the runway right now it should be a pretty good flyby here in a few minutes.
