My bigger concern would be having someone in the club who might damage an aircraft, and not have the personal ethics to say anything about it.

This is my biggest concern as a renter. I'm relatively confident I'm not going to screw up an airplane too badly, but I can't control what happens to it the other 98% of the hours it flies.
