Heya,


I'm headin' out to kick it with Lloyd this weekend in Nashville, and I was wondering if anybody had any hints on a cheap hotel out there that offers an air crew discount?

US Air express carrier puts us up at the Wingate. They changed it since I've been there so I have no idea what it's like.

No idea what they'd offer but since they have crews there they might have some deals.
 
Different US Express carrier puts us at the Hotel Preston. 877.361.5500. No idea if they do discounts, but it is a pretty nice hotel. Killer Mexican place just down the street to the right.
 
John, we use the Shereton Nashville Downtown. They couldn't give me a firm idea if they do discounts for pleasure travel accomidations. They said to call and ask. Here's the digits: 615-259-200. Does AMF have a designated hotel or have discounts with a hotel chain?
 
Nope, we don't have anybody specific; but I do have an air crew badge and a uniform, so I can probably manage to swing most airline discounts.

Hey no wonder you didn't get the -900's...y'all are high rollers!!! They are taking all our nice hotels away in order to "cut costs", yet still have a pretty inefficiently run corporate structure.
 
We are on a minor upswing in our hotels. Of course, a FA had to get mugged and a captain arrested for soliciting prostitution before the company did anything.

Speaking of the 900s...

Two rumors floating around. The comapany is going to offer them again. And, even better, when Republic gets their 12th E175 (some time in April) the number of "large small jets" flying for US will go over the alloted amount and either Mesa or us will have to start parking >50 seat airplanes! Wahoo!

I think you guys are OK. We are picking up Chautauqua's flying out of LGA because they are dumping 50 seaters from the US Air system (and like you said replacing them with the 170's) or at least that was what we were told.

I have seen more of the white painted RJs in BOS as well taking the place of some CHQ flights, especially to ROC.
