BMI of >> 40

I doubt it. Based on the voicemail I got last night, sounds like there isn't much info to give. They're working the issue, but it's playing catchup, because the FAA didn't bother to give any industry stakeholders advance notice, let alone request input.

This isn't actually true. @Seggy can vouch for me here, The FAA flight surgeon brought this to the attention of everyone attending the Pilot Assistance Forum at the ALPA headquarters early this spring. I had the opportunity to ask some questions about it. One, the BMI is not the only measurement. Doc, please correct me if I am wrong but isn't there a neck measurement involved too if your BMI exceeds the set limit. I believe Dr. Tilton said a neck measurement more than 17 inches was also required. Doc, do you know if any more has been released on this?

Do you people even have necks to measure?

Edit: I mean the Lifters, if that's not clear. Picking up a pencil winds me out, but I'm 100% cool on the BMI test. :/
