Blue Juice question

Try dumping a lav on a 757 where you essentially hook the hose up vertically above your head and stand under it . You WILL get some on you.. Especially after a full flight on a long haul.. The smell is horrendous..
Been there, done that. I got the pleasure of dumping the lavs on the DFW-ANC flight.

Oy, just about every horror story I've heard has involved a 757. I heard one about a guy who went through the trouble to put on the suit, tuck the suit into his boots, mask, gloves, the whole deal. Something happened and it dumped on him. Filled the boots right up. They said he just stood there looking like he was about to cry hahaha.
I Bugged my supervisor enough and they're supposed to be ordering more of the required protective equipment soon. Hopefully they follow through on it.

I'll never forget my first ramp job with a small regional based out of Chicago MDW. My first ever lav experience resulted in someone getting badly "smurfed". On our first day we were being brought around by training staff and given a tour of the facilities as well as demonstrations on how to perform some of the common tasks we would be doing. Our instructor decided to demonstrate a lav service to the group which failed miserably. He half halfheartedly connected the hose and either didn't get it to click or the thing was striped. He let her rip and caught the full force square in his chest.

It's one thing to have a lav mishap that results in being exposed to the "bad juice", but it's another to have an audience.. :clap:I'll never get the image out of my head of this guy fishing the toilet paper residue from his chest shirt pocket.
