Blue Hawaiian Jumpseat Hawaii

Blue Hawaiian is listed in our reciprocal jumpseat agreements summary, but isn't CASS approved and therefore is *seemingly* restricted to Pilots only.

Anybody have any experience trying to get a ride as a reciprocal jumpseater?

Don't they only do tours? I don't think you would be jumping on someones private charter.

I know some companies have NRSA rates for these tours to fill up open seats.

Blue Hawaiian is a helicopter tour outfit. I took them when I was in Maui in the 1990s. Don't know why they would be in a jumpseat agreement unless they wanted their pilots to be able to jumpseat and in return offer pilots an open seat on one of their tours.

I have heard of some tour companies letting pilots (and DX by extension) hop a ride for a free tour if they have a space. Albeit the ones I have heard that did this were Grand Canyon tours and not any in Hawaii.
