Blue Angels ride-along, raw footage

I'd be willing to bet the pilot isolated the observer's hot mic during that segment. No way I could listen to that redneck's jabbering on and on while I was executing precision maneuvers in tight formation.

Granted the Blues fly stripped out, slick, super clean Hornets, but I personally would rather have the Viper for fun factor. Can't beat the acceleration, thrust to weight, and G envelope. Maybe that is blashemy coming from a Navy dude, but hey....:cool:

If you ever get the chance, ask a Blueangles guy what he thinks about the Thunderbirds. Better yet, ask an F16 what they think about the best airframes getting siphoned off of active status and handed over to the Thunderbird guys.
 
Have to say its the best Blue Angels video I have seen. Look forward to seeing them at Seafair here in Seattle in a few weeks.
