Hey guys,

I am going to be taking my CFI written exam this Friday and I was wondering what website is best for taking some free practice tests. I have used exams4pilots.org but the same questions keep coming up everytime I take it.

Thanks!

I haven't used either in a few years but I would use webexams.com, as well as exams4pilots.org like you said.

With all the changes to the tests it will save you money to get Sheppard Air. Its a small price to pay considering the costs of a retest these days. I would not trust any free program for the CFI writtens because of the constant changes going on.

Changes to the test? Would the Gleim 2010 edition be up to date?

Nope not at all!! The 2012 preps are not current either thats why Sheppard Air is the way to go. They have updates very often sometimes daily for their stuff. All of the writtens are/have changed and only a current program will ensure success now.

I used Sheppard last fall with great results. It isn't free, but well worth the money. Gliem is not current!

Just a heads up. I don't think the FIA changed at all, I took a couple months ago after spending time with a 1 year old King DVD course and I did fine. It's the FOI that changed.

You guys had me all worried about the FOI from other threads. I just read the Instructor's Handbook once, studied the questions in the 2012 ASA Test Prep, and did a few practice exams before I was scheduled to take it, and did well.
