I’ve been wanting to add CFI to my collection of ratings for a while and my current gig leaves me with plenty of study time. What is everyone’s recommendations for online ground schools?

Seconded Kershener as well as of course read every single FAA pub book, since they’re free to download and everything needed to teach on the ride is in them for the most part, other than GOOD systems diagrams or animations, and a syllabus that properly works from ground up in building blocks.

The diagrams of what to expect to see out the window are really decent in the K book also, for teaching the student (examiner) what to expect for any particular task assigned as a lesson.

Spend some time at a whiteboard learning to draw simple diagrams of common concepts and systems while explaining them.
