Best looking airplane in your log book.

Not this exact S2B, but one similar.

I realize it's a total hijack, but some day, some day, it will be Mine. Or not. I give you the very essence of aircraft beauty. Unfortunately minus the four high velocity 20mm cannon that were so horribly adept at ripping our forefathers to tiny little bloody pieces in defense of one of the most evil regimes ever to infest the earth. Hey, I don't have to be politically consistent here, do I?

Fantastic looking aircraft, love the FW-190! If and when you fly this, you win!!

I may have misunderstood you, but that's not an A-4 of any stripe. That's a Bae Hawk we bought and cleverly renamed. Welcome to the multi-national conglomerate world.

We did a lot more than just rename the Hawk. The Hawk was not ready to be a Carrier aircraft and it took quite some effort to overcome its issues as a Navy jet trainer. We should never have bought it if you ask me but we made that deal with the Brits that never happened.

I too am going to stick with the ole P-51D:

It's a phenomenal airplane that I wish I had been able to fly just a little bit more.

Is that Gunfighter? Did you fly with Reg?

No. This particular airplane bears the livery of "The Millie G" as do several other restored P-51Ds around the country. She's owned and flown by a local physician and I was lucky enough to get a little bit of stick time.

Shucks. . .I need to abstain from this thread. Most (if not all ) my logbook airplanes easily fall into the ugly category.:(

Had the privilege to start-cart Gunfighter once, when they had a low battery. Must say that was one of the coolest things I've ever done.

Best looking airplane in my book has to be this. Not that it is much of an airplane, but it still looks good.
