Best cooler bag?

Tired of crappy, expensive airport food and hotels with nothing nearby. The parental unit wants to know what I'd like for Christmas, I'm thinking a cooler bag. Top contenders are the Aerocoast Pro Cooler II (will hold my iPad = major points), and the Strongbags Canadian Ice Flight Crew Cooler.

I have the Strongbags cooler and it has been great. I have had it for 3+ years and does a great job. It is a good size, but I wouldn't mind some more capacity.

Have the large size Strongbag and it's the best cooler bag I have ever owned. Plenty of pockets, very durable. You can use all kinds of sizes of frozen ice packs in it or just regular ice, but I always carry some heavy duty ziplock freezer bags if I am going to use regular ice so it doesn't leak. Plenty of room for all kinds of food/snacks and tupperware items and they will stay cold all day long into the evening easily. I even put a large insulated thermos in it and spoon, fork, knife. Well worth the price. It will last for many years.

I just bought a strongbags cooler. While I haven't had a chance to use it, it looks nice and seems really well made. I did quite a bit of searching and while its a little pricey for a cooler definitely seems worth it!

Strongbags. Don't even look at anything else. It's worth every cent. Buy one of these from walmart (they're like $8) and you'll keep 4 days worth of food refrigerator cold for 12+ hrs in 100+ degree heat with ice left over. I'm not even exaggerating, I've done it. I used to pull my lunch bag off the plane to put in the fridge for several hour sits, now I don't even bother.

Any of the 3 (strong bags, ebags or aero coast) would be great. Also I just use a zip lock bag and fill with ice, call me cheap but it works alright.

I'm in love with the aero coast right now just because it's taller than the ebags, and has the laptop slot. I did like the removable liner in my ebags.

Still have actually if anyone wants an ebags, no defects whatsoever

I use the Aerocoast that is a combination cooler/laptop bag but you can detatch the two from each other. It holds a weeks worth of food and you can fit a ton of stuff in it.

I do a blue ice bag that you use for sore muscles/injuries. I dont have to worry about water leaking, and its obviously reusable.

The Strongbag cooler is good but the top of the liner is fragile. Pretty much everyone I know (including myself) has torn the top of the liner. When I contacted Strongbags about this (within a month of buying the bag) it was less than a stellar experience. They agreed to pay for the repair in the end but was pretty taken back by the exchange that took place.

I've also noticed they've seemed to change the design to fix this issue. Make sure you get a brand new model not something that's been sitting on the shelf or Amazon warehouse somewhere.

The bag is built like a tank with the exception of the top of the liner around the lid.

The Aerocoast is worth a look.
