Best airport restaurants

So, since this place turned into a bar fight tonight, I figure we could focus on the best airport restaurants...

I'm a big fan of Qdoba at PIT. Anyone eat at Que Bueno at DIA? Heard it was good.

Guess I should say something concerning regional F/Os - I'm one, and my breath smells like catfood.

Are you asking of only those restaurants at large airports with airline service?
 
My favorite little airport restaurant is WAFlyBoy's avatar -- Nancy's Airport Cafe in Willows, California. Open 24 hours a day!

I don't have a favorite big airport restaurant yet. I've always wanted to eat in the place that's in the LAX theme building though.

This place turned into a bar fight tonight??? Oh no, I hope those people didn't come over here. Ignore them - they seek attention.

I started a similar thread once upon a time in another place, but to my amazement, it also turned into a contentious fight. It still amazes me that a simple question about good sustenance, while on the road, can turn into a fight.

Food recommendations are a good thing for all road warriors! Bring them on! We could even break it down to price points if ya want - like....

1. Looking for good cheap airport eats

2. Looking for good moderately priced airport eats.

3. Looking for "I'm taking the new chick on our first getaway weekend and am wanting to impress her" eats.
 
The resturant on the field at Salem, Oregon (SLE) is primo. Don't remember the name of it, but you can't miss it. Big glass front facing the field.

Monterey (MRY) has some good chili, little stand in the terminal.

Redding (RDD) has an excellent Chinese resturant, Peter Chu's.

Firewood Cafe in United's terminal at SFO has good pizza, fast too.

Wolfgang Pucks in terminal 7 at LAX has some good grub, best deal in that part of the airport too if you order the sandwich and half salad combo.
 
It's all about Zuniga's in Watsonville!

I've said it before and I will say it again. Lambert's Cafe. Sikeston, MO. Best. Food. Ever.

You actually have to stay out of the airplane for about an hour or two after you are done. There is no reason to every fly on a too full stomach. Fried Okra is so good, though.

I made sure to have Nancy's Airport Cafe as a stop for me on my super-long x-country from Redlands to Walla Walla.

Another place that is good is the Two-Niner Diner at Petaluma (O69), north of San Fran. Really great food, great environment. The owner of the pilot shop next to Two Niner Diner, called the Prop Stops Here, was also really cool and friendly. Camarillo's (KCMA) Waypoint Cafe is also a good place too. And if you are ever in the Tri-cities area, Vista is 5 minutes walking distance from a Red Robin...so would that count as a "airport restaurant"?

Obviously, anywhere that offers unlimited fries and $2 beers is a pilot hangout....What, are you...new? Of course, fried food and cheap beer is obiviously a ploy by the FAA to enforce the under 55 rule. I smell a conspiracy.
 
I can't remember the name, but it's located at KMEV. One of the best BBQ sandwiches I've had in a long time.
 
I remember saying this before in a different thread, bu it is worth repeating. The Sedona Airport Restaurant at SEZ is my favorite. Great food, good prices, and spectacular scenery.
