Best Airline to be a Pilot for?

Hands down the best.... only airline I nearly died 3 times on a single flight leg. Shame I could not have used some of the drugs they were flying....

Pretty sure we had a drunk pilot (canceled night before, did early morning and the pilot looked ROUGH), nearly ran out of runway at Quito, landed at some airbase and told not to leave our seats or we would be shot but the guys on the roof, nearly a mid air coming into Lima. Told we couldnt fly to Cusco as the runway didnt have lights (it did at the time....). Took LAN instead. I decided Peru was best seen at 35k feet doing 500mph... Glad someone else had the experience too!

All the responses aren't thad bad actually. He asked which airline is the best from a pilot's stand point, and the response was of airlines to avoid. Seems fair!

If you are indeed just starting out, and enthusiastic about flying...Work on Step 1: Getting your PPL, If you continue to have a passion for flying, stick with it, and work through your ratings. There are a lot of options in aviation, the airlines are just one of many.

This forum is a GREAT resource for everything aviation. Visit often, learn a lot, make new friends
