Been really lucking out with the weather lately. If you ever find yourself in Berlin, the Fat Tire Bike Tour is a must do event (all these pictures are from that ride around town). http://fattirebiketours.com/berlin

As always, check out the rest of the set on Flickr:

I'm also trying out SmugMug (with the thought of maybe selling some prints/etc.. someday), still figuring out the format , but if you're bored I'd appreciate some feedback (all the same pictures as on flickr.....)

That first picture looks pretty gruesome.

I think it's cool that they leave stuff like that up, just shows how far they've come.

Wow, nostalgic. I lived in Berlin as a teenager, during the time the wall opened. I loved that place. Made me want to get on a 777 on my next block of days off and head over for a few. Thanks for posting.

The Jewish War Crimes Memorial

Your title to this picture is troublesome...I am sure it wasn't done intentionally, but I would appreciate if you correct it to the memorial's real name (ambivalently) - Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

I've flown with the captain in the photo, he's one of my favorites!

I would but for some reason the edit post button is missing.... perhaps a moderator can help out

Didn't mean to offend. This is actually how our tour guide referred to it as, thus the post (I always thought it was the Holocaust Memorial but apparently that word isn't used in Germany)

I used to ride my scooter down to the end of the RW @ Templehof, I believe- and watch the airliners come and go 1973-75. Fun, fun!

Wow! You're so lucky! Germany is definitely my favorite country everrrr! Who do you fly for? That would be amazing to be able to fly there for a living!

I fly for Delta out of JFK... Germany is fun, but I'm more partial to Italy and Greece :)

Equally important is the message at the Information Center which says:

»It happened, therefore it can happen again: this is the core of what we have to say.«
