Be careful telling jokes on the job

One of my passengers said she told a pilot "Im going to nap as soon as we take off." She said the pilot then responded "Me too."

I cant recommend telling jokes like this on the job. It isnt professional and it could be interpreted literally. Then there is a passenger complaint, an email from the chief pilot and a black mark in the HR file. I dont recommend.

Definitely a good idea to develop a work filter for those who are quick with absurd comebacks or risque witty remarks.

Does their credit card work? Yes? Then yes. I want as many people from all walks of life to be in the back of the airplane as possible.
Same here, let them think whatever as long as they’re filling seats, aside from violent crazy ones.

As the years go by I find myself trying to interact as little as possible so I can just do my job and go home. Not that I’m afraid to say something wrong, but it’s just the same hand full of questions do really get old after a decade or so.
