BE-35 crashes in surprise, az.

The deceased just got his commercial ticket and was an employee of Angel Aviation, which is a small flight school out of Glendale.

Not sure what the nature of the flight was, but I can't seem to find the aircraft on Angel's website.

Oh snap, I was really giving Angel Aviation a good look. Heard nothing but good things about the school. R.I.P

Dang...this sucks! I knew Josh! He was my CFI some years back. He was also a mechanic at GEU back in the day and helped work on a plane we had to get back in the air. This is so very sad. RIP Josh.

I worked EMS in that area for almost 9 years, several of my former coworkers were on that incident. That being said, this could have been much much worse than it was. The area where they went down is very very populated as Bell Rd is the main thoroughfare through Surprise and Sun Village is just north of there. There's open desert about 2 miles to the south of there but that's quickly being developed too. RIP to the deceased, but I think his actions probably saved a lot of lives.

Give it 5 years, there is tons of development planned along the 303 between Surprise and Goodyear.

Yep! That's exactly what I told my flight instructor yesterday. LOTS of available land still out that way for miles. I told her in X amount of years, this will be full of homes and shopping centers.

I remember as a kid visiting my grandparents in Sun City having to take 91st Ave north from the 10 to get up to Sun City...

Did you spend the night? I heard that kids can't up there. Or if they can it's strictly only for 2-3 days tops. Anything after that, the Minority Report black choppers come out to scoop you up and send you on your way.
