Bay Area Cessna 206 Pilots Wanted

Next time I see them I'll find out what their current requirements are, maybe that way folks can stop blowing a gasket at what they were 7 years ago, and I can get your question answered ;)

To the best of my knowledge (and I have no responsibility for hiring):

500TT is still the minimum, though there may be a tiny bit of wiggle room for time acquired in training. Recency of experience there can be some discretion on.

There was for certain things in my time there, that was one of them. Just don't want to speak for them :)

That post of mine was up for about 30 seconds before I realized how old and stale the thread was and deleted it. The thread appeared in the "Popular Threads Right Now" section. I clicked on it assuming it was timely since it showed up in the "Popular Right Now" list. Why a 4 year old, apparently dead thread would show up there, I have no idea. But it did, and when I realized it I immediately deleted my post. Which, I suppose, also makes it passing strange that you would see my post and respond within mere moments.

But since you did reply, I'll reply back.

I know the company. Well. From it's inception. I never said it might not be fun. I never said it wasn't decent equipment. I'm giving them grief for asking for a training commitment AND for being so full of themselves that they think that's appropriate. They fly 206s! Training commitment for a 206?! That's pretty audacious. We won't even touch the fact that entire company's book value and expenses would add up to a rounding error for Google.

Well if you know so much about the company you would understand why they ask for a 6 month commitment. Like others have said the training is extensive. And they would prefer it not be a revolving door.
