Don't know how Army 60s do their thing, AF 60s are hard seat crew positions like this. USN ones too I believe.

In the Army, the PIC has the both the option and the ability to function from either seat with the same level of extreme proficiency. I'm sure with a little work the other branches can eventually get there too!

That's because Army helos are like a car off the lot with no options. In the USN, the left seat has the specialized mission management stuff.
The AF.....well, I cannot explain what they do or why...... anymore.
