Back to Grand Forks

Because they're Wally World.

If you have a bad experience there and write about it, they'll call you a "Hater" or a "Bean curd eating miscreant" and discount your concerns.
This is actually true, Doug, but the reason they close at 11PM on Saturday nights and open up at noon on Sundays is because there's an actual law in ND that prevents them from being open 24/7 during those days. It has something to do w/ religious practices and Sabbath, etc. It's not one bit of a lie. I'll try finding the law. Only here!! This place really blows.

Welcome to "separation of church and state" - it's only in North Dakota that they recognize this. :sarcasm:

ND is also one of the most conservative states in the union if you haven't noticed

Yup...with all of our congressional representation being a democrat.

Regarding Walmart closing...its because of the Blue Laws. Many states do this. It is kind of a dated practice.

I'm conservative, but not a religious conservative. There's a big difference.

But yes I noticed right away. Everyone here is a churchgoer :D not that there's anything wrong with that.
