Back to flight instructing...

Maurus

The Great Gazoo
I will never understand people and how they try to screw over others for no reason at all. With that said, I am back to looking to move on from flight instructing. My flight instruction job took me back full time at least.

Anyone know anywhere hiring people with 1340 TT and 19.5 ME? I'll go just about anywhere I can afford to live.

I did toss a resume into AWAC hoping that 800/100 is real.

With that, I will also be headed to Vegas for ACE.

Dooode, that's pretty awful to hear...if you need someone to talk it out with, let me know...cause it's happened to all of us at some point.

Might be a potential CFI position at PDK here in the ATL.

I was able to get my local CFI job back. Good reason to never burn a bridge.

Still looking to move on though. I simply can not sustain the compensation and stress of a CFI job for two more years. I enjoy flight instructing, but having the 100+ hr months just to make a descent paycheck kinda got old. Really looking to move on soon.

You could always give TransPac a try. Still instruction but at least it's a consistent pay check every month. Let me know I'll put in a good word for ya, not that it probably means anything. :)

Sorry about your situation, but like Hugz mentioned, TransPac is actively seeking instructors and the pay is steady and reliable.

You can PM me or Hugz for info.

Take that as a testament to the fact that you have character and integrity. If you're not in that space then you'll never understand. There is always a reason but just not one that you can fathom. Been there, been the recipient.

From someone who is looking for work, either in, or out of aviation with reasonable pay, I'd be ecstatic about flying "...100+ hr months". My preference is to stay local but ... It's all relative.

I feel your pain.

Sorry to hear that Maurus, I wish I could help you out man but I can't get you on here with out the multi. Best of luck dude!

Sounds like a story needs to be told.

A "good" friend of mine took me for a ride. He was wanting to buy a plane for his business. When I was supposed to get my first paycheck it didn't go through. He also gave me a check that bounced as well.

After trying to get my money for the next week things unfolded and here I am. I never quit my job with flight instruction just downgraded to part time so I was able to go back to full time without any trouble.

Super smart move on the Part-time.

At least you still have a job flying! I did a season of aerial survey and was really hoping to move on from there, but I'm right back to working line and also instructing. Don't ever burn any bridges!
