Not to get off topic here, but it's that "information versus insight" thing. In the information age, data is cheap but knowledge is priceless.
This is a genius way of putting it, and a good observation - being able to look stuff up in a hurry is an amazing capability that I love having.

I also want people to stop and THINK about what they are reading instead of going GOOD TO GO BRAH! and blasting off with (whatever conflicting MELs, subtle local weather issue, etc.).

Smarter machines make us dumber.
