AVIT 325 over the summer

Anyone take, or know someone thats taken the multi-engine course over the summer? Im just wondering how much you have to cram in during the week.

Apparently 9 credits is full time over the summer. Not that it matters being full time in the summer, but I need to get some "stupid" stuff done. I would like to try and get algebra, english comp II(or tech/business writing), and avit 325.

Anyone try to take 9 credits over a sixweek session? I guess Im just wondering how much Im going to hate life. :)

Definitely take 325 during the summer. I thought it would be a ton of work, but it was not bad at all. I took 325 with ISBE business communications with barb graham during the summer; just her course is enough for one semester. The flying is great, you'll get some actual, and be sure to fly to minneapolis or st. paul downtown and take the jaguar for a spin at the FBO. anyone know if they still have the jag as their courtesy car?

also.. Tugrul!! what's up man? i check out this site quite a bit, but didn't see they had forums until a couple days ago.... oh well. anyway, stop by happy harry's sometime for some more booze, i'll hook you up with some nice discounts.

HEY what's up, great to see you here. Yeah I have to stop by, I still never got to check the bass chair out, and you haven't been at my place yet. Yeah you said Barb Graham. I had such a hard time with her, I dropped the class and took walking. My friend regreted he did not do the same as she failed so many misserably.

I am gonna take that course with Jerde. Barb is a man hater I hear, to me she seemed like a great teacher but an unjust grader with problems.

Hey yeah discounts sound great. :nana2: I asked around if you were working one night, but wasn't my luck that time.

I'll call you, you should come over Friday, if you can.

two words for ISBE320

ONLINE CLASS.

sign up through the continuing education dept. never have to deal with the bitch face to face.:rawk:

yeah man, barb graham sucks hard. luckily, i took her class online, and for some reason it wasn't incredibly horrible. i mean, it was still a horrible class, but not as bad as i expected.

anyway, call me up friday. see if i can't finally make it over to your place. plus we've been havin some massive parties over here too. we can stream music through our wireless network to the xbox 360, and blast music through our surround sound - a very nice surround sound system, 5.1 i believe with a nice woofer... reminds me, i need to bring the bass chair back into the living room.

PS: sweet scooter

more with ISBE 320 online.... I have the final project for anyone who wants it, plus other work i had to do. PM/IM me if you need. If graham hasn't changed the final project at all, or anything else, i have it. otherwise, well, it's graham. she's satan.

UAL, if you're just taking 325 and comp 2/algebra/tech and business writing, you're in for an easy and fun summer.

Yeah, I took a warrior down to st. paul downtown holman. Yes, they still give you a jag. An x-type which is quite possibly the lamest car ever made, but I guess its better than your typical FBO dodge caravan courtesy car. ;)

I would like to go to MSP in the baron if I can get a flight instructor thats not chicken.

I guess Im worried about getting overwhelmed with 8 credits. Which means going to class 6 hours a day add flying and a 15-20 hour a week job and I just dont know if that works out. Gotta have my 8 hours of carlounge, s10forums, 240sxforums, and jecareers reading a day too ya know.

Another thing Im trying to do is get back to my hometown in time to enroll in the back sixweek session at the community college and get algebra and ISBE320(online) out of the way. I still have to look more into that part though. Im just curious about the first half in the mean time.

Last summer I took 325 and Flight Phys. The two classes kept me busy for three hours a day and flying took a few hours too. There are also a lot of cross country flights and really really late nights in 325 (during the summer). There were multiple nights when I was the last or the second to last airplane back on the ramp at 2:45am! I wouldnt go overboard with credits.

true. on that note, i did take only 5 credits during the summer when i took 325 with ISBE 320, and graham. It was a bunch of work, I did have a part time job, so there was minimal free time. Yes, during the summer, you will have late cross countries. I remember driving home only to see the AmTrak rolling in at 3 AM ish; had to wait at the tracks for it to cross which is much faster than those other grand forks trains. Regardless, it was a fun course during the summer, the weather was great, got some actual, and passed the stage with ease.

UAL, nice hunter thompson quote. good ****.

I took multi and ISBE320 one summer. I would recommend taking Barb Slams class during the regular semester for better results.

yes take 325 over the summer, i wish i had :(

i did 414 over last summer, it was hell, but so worth it, much better than taking a course during the normal school year

I think Im going to go ahead and take 325, math 104, and engl 125 for the first session. I'll see how well that goes. lol

Im one of those guys that MAKES time for free time. So that might not be a good idea for me. :)

Im trying to get all done at the same time as my room mates who are a year ahead of me. Luckily(for me, not so much for them) they both messed up a little and I really only have to catch up by one semester.

Did you know the X-type is a glorified Ford Mondeo (basically a slightly larger Ford Focus, but primarily sold in Europe)? Built right over the chassis, including almost all the interior plastic parts being from Ford. Poor owners think they're driving a Jag when they're really just driving a Ford :D

Yeah, I knew it was based on one of fords bad chassis. I couldnt remember which one.

Ford is probably the best parent company out there(especially when you look how badly renault is bastardizing nissan). They need to fix some of their down falls though. I'd seriously compare most of their new stuff with anybody else, however, I know they can do better.

Hell yeah, I hijacked my own thread!

So what is it most people have trouble with when doing this over the summer? Or the course in general regardless when it's taken?

I'll be done with 323/4 here shortly and its probably a good idea to start studying up on flows and systems and whatnot.
