Aviation Work in the Northeast

I am a low time pilot (350 hrs), I have commercial certification for both single and multi. I am instrument rated, and hold a CFI. I am looking for ANY aviation work to build time in the northeast. I live in central NJ. Are there any opportunities out there? It has been pretty sparse.

Was told recently while on the ground at Caldwell that multiple flight schools there were VERY busy.

Yes, I am working on my ii. Then I will get the MEI. But hoping to work as CFI while working on the additional ratings.

OP, care to share if any of these ended up panning out? Also @daydreamer anything in the NYC area for 500-1000TT pilots?
