I'm in the market for a watch.

On they skyhawk: The hands and tickmarks are glow in the dark, i presume? Just the digitcal crap doesn't have backlight?

right? can still tell what time it is, just can't use the goodies at night?


That blue angel titanium looks sweet! 320 bucks though ,eek!

Reminds me of a joke I heard a while back..

A lady calls 911 and reports "there is a naked Delta Pilot on my front lawn"

They're glow in the dark as long as they're charged. For the most part, that's not very long. I still like the watch b/c of the time zone features, and most of the time I have enough light at night to read the thing. If they had put a backlight in the watch, it would be the best thing on the planet.

I've got an eco-drive titanium Citizen "Skyhawk".

The reason I bought it wasn't for the E6B features, but the time zones and lack of need for replacing the battery.

I love the watch, but besides the time zones, it's impractical because it has no backlight.

i have the same watch, had it now for 3 years, i love the time zone features, lack of me having to actually ever set the thing, and the hands do glow in the dark so it is readable at night, unless you need to read the digital windows.

btw: the E6-B does work, i had forgotten mine on a few flights and it served it s purpose, but it is hard to read because it is so freaking tiny
