So can anyone point out any good aviation shows, reality and so forth. Air Disaster and those sort of shows are good, that one or something like it still coming on National Geographic which I no longer have on my package, alas. They used to have a couple shows on Discovery or TLC about bush pilots and I found "Bush Pilots" on YouTube, the whole series. But I was wondering if anyone knew any shows on TV they could suggest. There is one about repo of planes that is fun to watch. A bit staged of course, but fun to watch seeing everything from small planes to private jets being taken by the repo man, flown out under cover of night--all legal of course because the court has ordered them to be repossessed, but somehow these guys are subject to arrest for this or that, which of course is contradicting. But it's added drama. But looking for a reality show or two on flying. There were some good ones a couple years ago, including that one up in Alaska with the native family with the hot Eskimo daughter.

I believe you are referring to "Flying Wild Alaska." The show aired on Discovery and was discontinued after the third season. I actually bought all three season on iTunes.

I used to skip through Axe Men just for the heli-logging. It's kind of sad to think about now though. The pilot, Bart, died heli-logging in Oregon about a year ago.

Definitely a great one, though a little cheesy at times.

I had my very worst windshear encounter of my career on a go-around in that opening credits airplane... She kept me out of the trees!
