HNTB is doing the RDU GA ramp reconstruction. If a person were interested in airport planning, this would probably be a terrific opportunity.

Dang.. I could do that job.. but alas, I'm no longer "intern" age..

But for anyone who wants to know - HNTB is a really good company to get your feet into...man.. I'd love to do some more airport planning..

..if only it wasn't intern..
..if only it wasn't in virginia..
..if only i had a brain..
..if only i was back in kansas..

Thanks for the post, I'll let some of my ppls know about it (altho i doubt they'd wanna move out of PHX)

I am a college student. . . but I'm older than you (43). I can't intern either?

Do you freelance or is all your work through your firm? I'm very good friends with the Chief Airport Eng. for the State of PA, who knows people in this field.

Nope.. i'm fully employed and working as an EIT.. I don't even have my PE (yet), so I wouldn't be able to freelance....

Thanks for the offer but I really have no want to move from PHX.. I'm not sure if there's much planning work involved in airports now a days since most are already built, so i'm not really sure an aviation job would really fit with my major career moves...ya never know though!
