Average hours to checkride "pass"

At 101 hours and 399 landings I took and passed my Private checkride last Saturday! My last landing was behind an B-17 WWII bomber. I finished up with a soft-field landing and after completing the soft-field procedure my DE said, "You passed ...if you don't hit that B-17 during taxii". My response was..."I can do that!". My 400th landing was on the checkride. I had a beautiful day with minimal thermals. I fixed my "altitude creep" problem several weeks ago and that coupled with no thermals made for a smooth ride. I nailed my shortfield landing and had anticipated the diversion point in advance of the checkride based on "probable airports" so that all went smoothly. ATC messed with my initial XC checkpoint but I anticipated that as well and had a plan to get back on course.

Yippee! :nana2:

not to be resurrecting the dead but how many students did your first instructor pass their checkride with? How many hours did they have?

Congrats on the pass.
