is there a site that has aviation avatars you can download. new here so i don't know. any help would be appreciated.

You can try www.aso.com and look at the thumbnail pics. Just save them to your computer (don't blow them up) and upload them. That's what I did. You can even try airliners.net for 'em.

You can use any picture you want. Maximum avatar size is 180 × 240 pixels, so if you use an Airliners.net photo or something you can resize it using Microsoft Photo Editor or Paint or something.
