Six of our former flight instructors now fly with them. They have pretty high minimums.

If I'm not mistaken, they are something like:
1500TT
250ME
100 Turbine PIC

I could be way off on the TT & ME time, but I'm 98% sure about them requiring 100 Turbine PIC.

thanks for that info.... those are pretty high time req

Dont think the 100 turbine pic is correct...had an interview scheduled with them- met all of the other mins except the 100 turbine pic. It seems they did want some turbine experience though...had to work pretty hard at convincing them that my 400hrs of level d lear time and type rating accounted for some sort of experience.

I'm probably off on the 100 hrs of turbine PIC, but I know that the 500 TT is way off.

I can tell you that the folks who got hired from here ALL had over 2500 TT, 500+ ME and some turbine time.

Johnnyb, (Ref your avatar.)

Great, now I have to get a picture at FL510 to put up....

How did you get that steam powered thing up there anyway?

Sim, right??? :D

Yeah....sim...uh huh. I'm not that lame.:D

I actually get up to 47oh fairly easy. SL to FL430 in 18 mins. is the norm (of course that's at M.74 in the climb, not .88 :buck:) I go straight to FL430 pretty much every flight, as long as it's ISA to ISA+ 2 or 3.

I figured you'd get a kick out of me topping your avatar (four-three-oh....Please:p) and it wouldn't be long till ya got me back. But hey, that's cool, I can get to FL510 too.:bandit:

.74 isn't too bad....(single engine - done in Mr Subliminal voice, SNL)

I guess I'll have to put back my .92 avatar. That ought to be safe for a while...Yeeeeeeeaaaaaa, that's the ticket!

(For some reason it won't let me upload right now).

The mins are INSANELY high, but all of our former Instructors who fly with them now (6 at the last count) love the company.

Spoke with one two days ago and he said they like to see a Part 135 background.

Not to mention that the starting salary just went up SUBSTANTIALLY. So, if you have those kinds of mins and want to fly the "Catfish" - I know 6 pilots that would absolutey recommend it.

High??????
Are you insane? 2500 is just starting to get broken in good. Seems like the fractional operators are the ONLY ones with sane minimums. The airlines sure aren't.

Perspective. No more, no less.

And...am I "insane?" By my definition - absolutely not. By yours... obviously.

I prefer mine. ;)

Again... perspective. ***shrug***

Who are you kidding Stan? Honestly.

I got your back Stan. Next time I see NJACAPT on the ramp somewhere, I'll give 'em a piece of my mind!.....or maybe I'll steal his faxes from the Signature counter! Yeah.....
