Do you ever feel like pushing buttons takes a little flying out of flying though?

The autothrottles work well. But, like all automation, you still have to make sure they do what they are supposed to do. It gets easy to set them and forget about them. But you always need to get the power settings in your scan. Over time...you may have a tendency to skip over them in your scan.

My right hand automatically brings it from redline to idle at 200 above for landing.

Oh i assure you on an actual go-around you will have a lot more to do than just bump up the throttles.

Did one last night! Unfamiliar GV was taking its sweet time on the runway...
