Actually, the absentee ballot takes an extra $0.23 in addition to the standard $.37 postage.

Florida requires the same thing. But the ballot was huge, I can see why.

The thing is that last election year the ballot didn't require extra postage. They used the same envelope, the same card stock and realized that it incurred a higher postage fee, after printing and mailing.

So it's a suprise to the state election commission as well!

But they say the under-postage ballots will still arrive at the office.
