Thinking of coming over from the UK to do this next year (TSA permitting!). Anyone got any comments on the course (good or bad, content, workrate, pre course study requirements). All comments welcomed, either on the board or by private message / e-mail (darren@wheelerweb.org)

I don't know about the UK, but to actually get insurance to fly the plane in the US, you would probably have to attend FSI or Simuflight even if you already have a type rating from ATP. If this is the case, then you would be better off to just go to one of these companies and only pay for training once.

Yes - fully aware of that. However, the reason for doing it is that, unlike the US, European rules require a type rating even as second in command. The aircraft would always have an experienced captain in the LHS.
