ATP yes or no?

I have my PPL and Instrument rating. ATP sounds like a great deal in the shortest amount of time possible. I'm curious if anyone thinks it is worth it considering I already have my instrument rating. My other choice would be FSI, but moving to FL from the west is not that appealing to me! Anyone have any insight?

I had my instrument almost done when I started with ATP, and if I had to do it all over again I would still have done it that way. It made it a lot easier for me while going through the instrument training in the program, it made my life a little easier.

Keep in mind that flying instrument in a single is different than flying instrument in a twin, so it's not like you won't be learning anything new while going through that portion of the training.

Learning it twice will only make you a better pilot, so don't let having the instrument ticket stop you from choosing ATP.

Cheers,
Helge
