Hi, I'm currently living in Ohio, and I like the Midwest a lot, but I am willing to move anywhere. I've been a Regional Chief Pilot for an aerial patrol company for the past 3.5 years. I just finished my ATP Written and I'm looking to get out of low level flying and possibly into corporate or charter, but may consider the airlines too. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Comm MEL, SEL, SES, CFI, ATP Written, FCC License, US Passport

No turbine time yet

You could come to silver we have a Pkb, Duj base and bfd. It's not great but will get you started 121 in the area if no where else will take you. However I would try the jet first.

I'm in Northwest Ohio, about 2 hours or so North of Dayton. Thank you for those leads. I will definitely be looking into them. I got almost all of my tailwheel time in Citabrias. I love those planes.

I put in my application to PSA, and I have an interview scheduled with Cape Air and American Eagle. Also, I have an invite for an interview with Express Jet and Trans States Airlines, as well as I may have another lead up in Northern Michigan with a small operator, but we will see if anything comes of it. Thank you for your recommendations and if you have any others, let me know.

Yeah I'm pretty much in the same boat, pretty close on time...been working on the 135 side, but time building is slow in the turbine stuff. I'm looking at XJT, PSA, TSA, maybe AWAC (no calls lately), but looks like you're already on that route. Good luck!

Thanks! Good luck to you as well...My interview with American Eagle had to be rescheduled because they booked me on full flights and I couldn't get down to Dallas, but I had my Cape Air interview yesterday and that seemed to go very well. They seem like a great company and I think they would make a good fit for me and the flying seems fun.

Cape is a good operation, I have a few friends who currently work there and love it (Former AE people too). I see them all the time when we have flights up into the Northeast. AE was interesting, but they have a lot happening over the next year or two; the business side of me knows big change is coming for them. American has to make up a shortfall of $4.7 Billion; change is going to happen, and probably will hurt more at the regional level. Who knows...

How many people is Cape hiring these days?

I'm not certain exactly how many they are looking for. At least 1 since I was offered a position! I got the offer letter today, so I'm thinking that Cape Air is where I'm going. There is soon to be an open position for low level aerial patrol in Ohio and I believe we still have a position open in Kentucky. PM me for details on the company and positions if anyone is interested.
