One of the things that I've always liked about ATP's forum here on JC is that the ATP students, instructors, and potential students have always kept a cool head when making responses to potential flame baited posts. It really set's this forum apart from some of the others on here.

I visited ATP in Vegas some time back and spoke with one of the instructors. He was a real nice guy and seemed eager to share information about the school and whatnot. Most of the students there just sort of looked at me with a blank look....I think they were trying to get a look at my wife. lol

I flew down to Vegas just recently as well to check out the CFI program... turns out your post was able to do more for me than the trip-- I could've saved a few hundred bucks! I'm planning on doing my multi, MEI and my CFII through ATP. Now that I'm not doing the entire CFI program with ATP I have the option of staying around PDX and doing the CFII and MEI down at Salem or I could still go to Vegas. It'd be nice to stay around home and save a bit of money, but I'm hoping for an oppurtunity to flight instruct which is why I want to go to Vegas. If I do well with ATP, would I have a chance of instructing? Would I be able to instruct at a different location then where I trained? Any advice, you seem to know your stuff about ATP Anything at all would be helpful

Whne I visited the Vegas ATP, the instructor I spoke with told me that the Vegas lcoation was "mostly" for CFI training and whatnot.

Not sure if that is much help to you though.
