You can have quality, a rapid pace, and a low cost... and you can pick two.
I've experienced the same thing with Riddle grads
Work full time with a schedule that allows training in the morning. I worked the line 1400-2200, would train or build time in the mornings then head to work. How is ATP in regards to the "self-paced" option? If I had my druthers, I'd just go whole hog and knock out my ratings all at once. However, six to 10 months without a job kinda concerns me.

That's not a bad idea. With the pace of the program, would it be possible to not only fly but also put in enough study time while working full time?
I was thinking along those lines. That way, I could fly every day instead of just on my days off.Work full time with a schedule that allows training in the morning. I worked the line 1400-2200, would train or build time in the mornings then head to work.

I went part 61 and went very fast (359 days from first flight to CFI) so I don't know how well it would work with ATP's program. I had plenty of time to study. It really comes down to how committed are you? I know guys who were trying to do what I was doing, but they weren't as committed, fell behind on their own studies and still are not finished. If you put in the time to study and knock the writtens out of the way at the beginning of your training, the whole process will be a lot easier. That's not a bad idea. @TakingFlight223I literaly have "0" time in this industry, but 34tt and its more than enough time to convince me that I want to fly for the rest of my life. ATP School is just another route, It takes the 'right' attitude to get anything out of this world. My 2 cents are Im going, and Im applying myself, and Im going to meet folks and enjoy my training.weeeeee
