ATIS Q

You heard that on the ATIS?! Usually that is something you'll see in the remarks section of a METAR. The guy must've just read the METAR word for word, number for number. You can pretty much disregard most of it, unless you're a meteoroligist, theres nothing in there that really affects you.

The SLP is Sea Level Pressure, which is usually in millibars, which those numbers don't seem to be.

A02 means the station can discriminate (tell the difference) between types of precip.

How'd you remember all those numbers

I have heard that in "remarks" as well when I'm bored and call PHX D-ATIS from CVG.

Of course the numbers were prolly different.

Over Thanksgiving last year PHX ATIS had a message to pilots.

It said happy Thanksgiving "Gobble,Gobble,Gobble, Gobble,Gobble,Gobble" After gving all the weather and other important info.

And while not as funny as the "blinding ball of fire" comment it still sounded funny as hell to hear the ATIS robot say Gobble,Gobble,Gobble in it's robotic/computerized voice.
