I took my AT-SAT test in December and people were dressed all differently. They really don't care how you dress. My thought is be comfortable so you can do your best. That is what I did and I did pretty well on my test.
I took mine last april and wore a full suit, I was waaaaaaaaay overdressed. More likely then not your'e not going to be dealing with anyone from the FAA but with a contractor like Robinson Aviation. I dont really think they care how you dress.
Isn't there a song that goes, "they come running as fast as they can, every FAA supervisor is crazy about a sharped dress man"?
I think it's ZZ Top. "Go get yourself some cheap sunglasses"!
