Asthma/Allergies

HI Doc,

I had a question for you. I have a first class medical on my medical I put down asthma and allergies but I am not taking any meds. I noticed this years allergy season to have a greater affect on me. I'd like to go back and visit a dr. How would this affect me if he prescribed an controlling inhaler? Would I have to stop flying? I am also toying with the idea of allergy shots.

If you use an inhaler occasionally, you are OK. If you use it more, it may require a Special Issuance.

If you don't need other medications it is OK.
